This is a RE-RELEASE of an EP originally released in 2017 through Aquatic collective. They've given me the blessing to upload it here as they are taking a step back from label activities.

Fills EP is an album of jazzy, glitchy downtempo meant to channel the peculiar and beautiful experience of life through the medium of electronic music.

With Fills EP, I further and more deeply explore the idea of the artist as alchemist. From the first foley sample to the final glimmering glaze of glitchiness, layer upon layer of audio, midi, and all manner of percussive potpourri are brought forth from the vast and mysterious higher realm known as my sound library and meticulously manipulated like sound-paint until a brand new piece emerges which can be thought of as the embodiment of novelty, art that surprises even its creator. I have thoroughly enjoyed the process of helping these tracks create themselves, and I hope you enjoy them!" - Sam Andrus (5AM)
